Jewson Major Build Solutions, specialists in providing solutions and building materials for customers in the national house building industry, are expanding their team. We’re looking for a Regional Sales Centre Assistant Manager who’s as passionate about great service as we are.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm – office based
Location: Sales office is based Lytham St Anne based
Key Responsibilities:
This role will see you managing day-to-day operations within a newly established Regional Sales Centre – from hiring and training your team to building relationships with customers and suppliers by promoting our growing brand and its services.
· Supporting developing strategies to promote Major Build Solutions products and services
· Training and motivating sales team 3 staff in our regional sales office, Plan grow
· Collaborating with Customers to identify their needs and improve results
· Establishing best practices and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
· Performing market research and collecting customer feedback to improve service delivery
· Evaluating performances, coaching, motivating and supporting the Sales team
· Maintaining cordial relationships with suppliers and customers in the region with a key focus on account management
· Ability to work and adhere to customer call-off schedules
Required Skills and Experience
· Proven experience at a management level within the Builders Merchant industry – at least 3 years
· Commercially astute with ability to grasp and translate the business strategy into clear, achievable people objectives, with a ‘customer first’ focus
· Demonstrable experience in partnering with stakeholders at all levels
· Digital mindset and IT literate with the ability to use data to influence, challenge and support the delivery of operational/functional plans
· A driving licence would be beneficial for this role
