We're looking for a dedicated individual to join us as our Regional Safety, Health, and Environment Lead on a 12-month fixed-term basis for maternity cover.

As the Regional Safety, Health, and Environment Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in championing SHE excellence within your region, covering Midlands and the North (main offices in Birmingham, Oldham, with other delivery offices in Rotherham, Gateshead, and Nottingham). You'll serve as the local point of contact for Senior Managers and LCO Boards, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach to delivering SHE services aligned with our strategic direction.

  • You're recognized as the local SHE leader, valued by the business, customers, and supply chain.
  • Safety, health, and environmental performance meet or exceed targets.
  • Customer needs are not just met but exceeded, leading to positive feedback and repeat business.

  • Timely and accurate SHE data is completed to demonstrate the team's high performance.

Criteria

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • CSCS Card.
  • CertIOSH qualification.
  • Level 6 qualification in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Associate membership with IEMA.
  • IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management.
  • SEATS certification.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Commitment to ongoing CPD.

Desirable Skills:

  • CMIOSH qualification.
  • Degree in Safety, Health & Environment.
  • Relevant operational experience in Construction/Interiors.
  • Transferable skills.
