Job description

Regional Recruitment Lead
Across the North (Remote with regional/national travel)
£36,000(dep on exp) - 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays 3 Christmas closure days
Full-time, Permanent
The Role:
We’re looking for a Regional Recruitment Lead to support employment services across the North with hiring, onboarding, and developing employment advisors. This role is central to helping providers recruit more effectively and build a workforce that better reflects the communities they serve. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders—from HR teams and senior managers to frontline staff—to shape recruitment campaigns, improve induction processes and offer practical support that makes a real difference.
You’ll need to be someone who brings professionalism, energy, and a personable, collaborative approach. You’ll be expected to come with ideas, think creatively when traditional recruitment isn’t working, and support services to reach underrepresented groups—particularly in terms of ethnicity, gender, and background. This role is not just about filling vacancies, it’s about building diverse, high-quality teams that deliver excellent employment services.
Duties:

  • Support with end-to-end recruitment across the Northern region, including shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Work directly with employment services to review job descriptions, shape inclusive recruitment campaigns, and improve reach.
  • Help build more diverse teams by promoting and supporting equality, diversity, and inclusion in hiring.
  • Offer practical support to hiring managers, HR staff and senior leaders around workforce planning and creative recruitment approaches.
  • Deliver induction and training sessions for new staff and provide ongoing guidance to frontline teams.
  • Act as a trusted partner to services, offering as much or as little hands-on support as they need.
  • Monitor recruitment outcomes, share best practice and contribute to the development of a confident, capable workforce.
  • Build strong relationships across the region, including with NHS and voluntary sector partners.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in recruitment, ideally in health, employment, or a related sector.
  • A proactive, people-focused approach with a commitment to inclusion and fairness in hiring.
  • Confident working with a range of stakeholders—from frontline staff to senior managers.
  • Able to challenge the norm and offer creative, practical recruitment ideas.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience delivering training and supporting staff onboarding is a bonus.
  • Comfortable working remotely, managing your own time and travelling when needed (quarterly London team meetings).

This role is remote but covers the North of England. You’ll manage your own diary and travel as needed. You’ll join a supportive and fast-paced team and be part of a growing national network working to improve employment outcomes for people with mental health support needs.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please submit your CV.
