Job summary

South Western Railway is seeking a Regional Crime and Security Manager to lead safety, security and crime prevention across the network. You will coordinate incident response, manage Rail Community Officers, and maintain RSAS accreditation with BTP while liaising with police and other agencies.

The role requires proactive leadership, staff rostering, training, and regular engagement with local authorities. You will travel across SWR, oversee control centre operations, and deliver crime

• Experience in security or customer service with safety focus.
• Understanding of rostering and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Direct leadership of Rail Community Officers across depots.
• Oversee RSAS compliance and engagement with BTP.
• Manage Safety & Security Control Centre operations and incident response.
• Coordinate deployments to events and incidents and manage security staff.
• Liaise with police, Home Office forces and external agencies.
• Lead recruitment, training and PSP problem-solving meetings.
