Are you passionate about raising standards in Early Years education? Do you have the experience, knowledge and vision to inspire nursery teams, develop exceptional practice and make a real difference to children's lives?

Our client is looking for an inspiring and knowledgeable Regional Quality Advisor to join their team and play a key role in driving quality, curriculum excellence and outstanding outcomes across their nurseries in the Midlands, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who loves sharing their expertise, developing people and making a difference across multiple settings. You'll be at the heart of their quality strategy, supporting nursery leadership teams to deliver the very best in early education and care.

Working closely with the Head of Early Years, Regional Business Managers, Area Managers and Nursery Managers, you'll have the opportunity to influence, inspire and embed best practice, helping nurseries achieve strong Ofsted outcomes and, ultimately, give every child the very best start in life.

If you're ready to take your Early Years expertise beyond one setting and make an impact across an entire region, we'd love to hear from you!

Please note: This is a field-based position involving regular travel across the Midlands, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, with occasional overnight stays.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be a driving force behind quality improvement, supporting nurseries to continually raise standards and deliver exceptional experiences for children and families.

Your role will include:

  • Championing quality and excellence: Driving high standards of education, care, curriculum and EYFS compliance across your region.

  • Driving continuous improvement: Delivering quality improvement plans, providing practical support and preparing settings for successful Ofsted inspections.

  • Inspiring leadership teams: Working alongside Area and Nursery Managers to build confidence, strengthen leadership and embed sustainable best practice.

  • Developing exceptional curriculums: Supporting managers to create engaging, bespoke and high-quality curriculums aligned with the company's philosophy.

  • Unlocking potential: Identifying opportunities for transformational improvement and developing targeted strategies to achieve exceptional outcomes for children.

  • Providing expert guidance: Offering hands-on and remote support during inspections and regulatory visits, including unannounced visits.

  • Using insight to drive change: Analysing quality data, RAG ratings and audit outcomes to identify risks and take proactive action.

  • Sharing knowledge: Delivering engaging quality training, sharing best practice and ensuring policy updates are understood and embedded.

  • Championing inclusion: Acting as a trusted expert on safeguarding, SEND and inclusive practice, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

What does success look like?

You’ll know you’re making a difference when:

  • Nurseries consistently achieve at least the expected standard, with more settings progressing towards strong and exceptional outcomes.

  • Area and Nursery Managers feel confident, empowered and supported to deliver exceptional education and care.

  • A consistent culture of quality and continuous improvement is embedded across the region.

  • Potential risks are identified early and addressed effectively.

  • SEND provision is strong, inclusive and makes effective use of additional funding.

  • Most importantly, children are thriving, learning and receiving the very best start in life.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong Early Years knowledge with the confidence, passion and ability to influence others.

You’ll ideally have:

  • A Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification or above.

  • Excellent, up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS, child development and Ofsted inspection frameworks.

  • Previous experience in an Early Years management role.

  • Proven experience supporting and developing multiple nursery settings, ideally in a regional, advisory or field-based position.

  • A strong track record of driving quality improvement and supporting nurseries to achieve Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

  • The confidence to coach, challenge and influence senior leaders and operational teams.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, analytical and reporting skills.

  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding, SEND and inclusive practice.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly across the region, including occasional overnight stays.

Above all, you’ll be passionate about quality, committed to continuous improvement and motivated by making a genuine difference to children's futures.
