Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. in Tewkesbury is seeking a Regional Pump Engineer to join the GAP Pump Services team. You will travel to customer sites to service and repair dewatering pumps, hoses, and generators, ensuring equipment is ready when customers need it.

The role requires proven pump engineering or mechanical fitter experience, knowledge of diesel engines, and a customer-focused, detail-oriented approach. A driving licence is preferred but not essential, and the depot is in Tewkesbury.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pump engineer/mechanical fitter or similar role.
• Experience within plant or hire industry would be highly beneficial.
• Sound and current knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, hoses or generators is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A customer-focussed approach workload and committed team player.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment including pumps, hoses and generators.
• Accurately updating service records for each job.
