Job summary

Project People is advertising a Regional Property Surveyor role with responsibility for overseeing and optimising the estate portfolio within a nationwide telecoms context. The position involves managing day-to-day estate matters and providing expert property guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Based in Reading with a 6-month contract and two days per week in the office, you will support strategic regulatory and commercial aims while ensuring compliance and effective asset

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in property or estate management, ideally within mobile telecoms.
• Professional property-related qualifications (MRICS, CAAV) or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with influence at all levels.
• Experience with managed service providers or chartered surveying practices.
• Insight into valuation methodologies and lease negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Champion day-to-day estate management across a defined cohort of telecom sites.
• Oversee lease renewals, rent reviews, exit management, and breach resolution.
• Provide property advice to contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Resolve access escalation issues and wayleaves effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed process innovation and deliver quick wins across property landscape.
• Prepare Witness of Fact statements for tribunal proceedings when required.

Are you a skilled property professional with a passion for estate management and a thirst for innovation? We are looking for a Regional Property Surveyor (RPS) to oversee and optimise the operational integrity of our dynamic radio estates portfolio. You’ll be an authority on property-related matters and help shape strategic choices that influence nationwide telecommunications infrastructure.

As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you'll deliver specialist advice to internal departments, external legal and surveying professionals, and interface directly with our shareholders. This role is pivotal in enabling us to fulfil both commercial and regulatory ambitions, including compliance with legislation.

What you’ll do
