We are currently recruiting for a Property Portfolio Underwriting Manager for our Commercial Insurance business in the London and South East Region!
A bit about the job:
As a Regional Property Portfolio Underwriting Manager you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the Region’s Commercial Property business plan. You will be a subject matter expert expected to find solutions to complex problems and be capable of creating non-standard insurance solutions.
You will support the teams in winning and retaining business through mentoring, training, and technical referral sign offs utilising your high technical underwriting license. You will oversee the quality of the business that is being written and ensure the technical capability is developed to keep pace with growth and the market opportunity.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Previous experience in leadership, coaching and mentoring staff and managing underwriting accounts.
Technical Property Underwriting expertise and portfolio Management.
Experience in developing strategic contacts and relationships across the market.
Experience in managing complex non-standard underwriting arrangements.
Excellent understanding of the insurance industry with a broad knowledge of external regulators.
