Regional Project Manager – Manufacturing Facilities (UK)

Location: UK (with travel across UK, EU & MENA)

Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Project Manager to lead the design and construction of a major manufacturing facility in the UK supporting the offshore wind sector. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage industrial facility projects from planning through to commissioning and handover
  • Oversee design, procurement, construction, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with UK and overseas-based teams to align technical standards
  • Lead contractors and consultants, ensuring cost, quality, and safety targets are met
  • Liaise with government bodies for permitting and approvals
  • Track budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support handover, operations readiness, and post-completion reviews

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years’ experience managing UK industrial or heavy infrastructure projects (wind power, shipyards, automotive plants)
  • Track record of delivering at least two full-cycle UK projects (£30M+ each)
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulations (RIBA, CDM 2015, building codes, etc.)
  • Skilled in project planning tools (Primavera, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit)
  • Solid understanding of UK construction contracts (e.g., NEC4, JCT)
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (APM, PMP, RICS, or MICE is a plus)
  • Familiarity with Freeport special policies
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
