Qualifications

Job description

We're hiring for a Regional Procurement Manager
Location: Uxbridge
Up to£64,575+ exceptional benefits
36 hours/week | Hybrid working – 1 day Uxbridge office, 4 days home

LHCPG is seeking an experiencedRegional Procurement Manager who is an effective manager of resources, adept working within a matrix organisational structure. If you are a strategic thinker who supports innovation and drives progress, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

-Bethe focal point for the LHC procurement offering, assessing and reporting on clients’ requirements to LHC and LHC Group colleagues in order to continually improve the services offered by LHC.

-Engage with LHC appointed companies to ensure that they fully understand the needs of LHC users in procuring projects both in a general sense and on specific LHC projects.

-Provide full range of call off support to all LHC users throughout their building programmes or individual projects.

- Maintain a level of credibility with LHC clients and establish personal relationships with them to facilitate LHC and LHC Procurement Group corporate goals and objectives

- Develop and improve on your knowledge of construction and building materials sector in England in order to provide information to the team on key economic and social drivers.

- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement legislation and provide guidance to colleagues, clients and appointed companies.

- Provide advice and guidance on best practice and innovation in procurement to LHC and other group members in order to remain competitive in the framework provider sector.

- Work closely with the Group Procurement Team to ensure all framework products and services are industry leading and fit for the requirements of LHC clients..

What You Need:
- Experience of undertaking regulated procurement of goods and/or services on behalf of Public Sector organisations

- Understanding of best practice procurement

- Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Regulations in England and Wales

- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems or other databases

- Knowledge of the public sector and social housing sector in England

- Experience/awareness of new build construction, refurbishment and maintenance sector

- Proven experience working with e-tendering platforms, including the creation, management, and distribution of procurement documents, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and internal processes.
