Sony Europe currently has an incredible opportunity to join our Global Process Office as a Regional Process Owner for our PTP (Procure-to-Pay) across our West regions (NA, Europe & Hawkeye businesses)


The Regional Process Owner – Procure to Pay role at Sony offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape core financial operations across a global enterprise. As part of the HQ-based Global Process Office, you’ll drive the standardisation and improvement of PTP processes across your region, collaborating with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic outcomes.


This critical position provides full ownership of process transformation, contributing directly to Sony’s goal of building a world-class, cost-effective accounting function. With strong visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to grow within a respected global brand, this role is ideal for those ready to make a meaningful difference on a large scale.


You will be responsible for:


• Standardize and Harmonize Processes: Ensure consistent application of Sony’s Global Process Model across GFA West, including principles, procedures, systems, and data.
• Drive Process Improvements: Identify exceptions and lead improvement initiatives that reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Promote Automation: Identify processes suitable for automation (e.g., RPA or AI) to enhance performance and reduce manual work.
• Ensure Compliance with Global Standards: Make sure all supported Sony entities follow the Global Process Model, including newly integrated entities.
• Support Transformation Projects: Help implement global initiatives and process changes, especially those involving SAP S4 HANA and Power Apps.
• Manage Concur System Governance: Oversee the global Concur platform, handling issues, new requirements, and onboarding for new entities.
• Monitor Performance: Report on key metrics to evaluate how well entities follow the Global Process Model.
• Document and Train: Create process documentation and deliver training for new systems and tools.
• Facilitate Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Delivery teams and IS, ensuring clear understanding of process needs and system development.

You will bring:


• Demonstrable experience of working & managing within a Shared Services Function / Environment
• Experience of managing & leading Procure-to-Pay process optimisations & functions
• Working & user knowledge of SAP
• Previous exposure/experience of working within an internationally structured organisation
• Fluent ability in the English language

Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop. We currently require our Weybridge based employees to work on site a minimum 3-days per full working week.
