A leading company seeks a Regional PR Manager to join their Birmingham office. You'll be responsible for strategic PR communications across UK offices, managing media requests, and creating engaging content. The role:
You’ll manage all reactive media requests and will proactively seek out news agenda driven opportunities. You’ll write all written content for press releases, articles and thought leadership pieces and you’ll also create engaging social media content to sit alongside the media relations work being undertaken.
You’ll also work with the broader corporate comms team to develop a range of regional press photography and video content, and awards and submissions for the regions will also sit within your remit.
What we’re looking for:
This team has always been run very much like an agency, so we’re looking for either experienced agency PR Account Managers with professional services experience or candidates who are already in a PR Manager environment, again professional services is going to be extremely useful, but it’s not necessarily a deal breaker if you haven’t got it.
You’ll need to be a brilliant relationship-builder, as there’s lots of stakeholders involved with this firm – there’s a lot of offices.
You’re also going to be very well organised and will thrive on building regional press contacts and really helping each office achieve great PR on an individual basis as well as assisting with the overall positive PR of the firm.
What’s on Offer?
Salary is available on application but is very competitive and there is an excellent benefits package on offer including bonus and share purchase options.
You’ll need to be in the Birmingham office twice per week and there’s also travel to the other offices throughout the UK, but the rest of the week you can be at home. When you are in the office, you’ll be in the centre of the city and be in pretty impressive surroundings.
