Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking a Regional Powered Access Engineer to carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on powered access equipment across Yorkshire and nearby regions. The role includes on-site diagnostics and customer service on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Essential qualifications include IPAF and CAP licenses, with NVQ or equivalent preferred. Travel across the region is required, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing and repairing powered access equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on powered access and related equipment.
• Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Carrying out inspections and repairs to ensure equipment is safe and reliable.
• Completing PDI inspection work.
• Carrying out LOLER inspections where required.
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the company on customer sites.
• Travelling across the regional patch, primarily covering Yorkshire, with occasional travel to Newcastle, Peterborough and Manchester.
• Completing all relevant service reports and paperwork accurately.
