Job summary

Greencore Group is seeking an experienced Lead People Partner to guide the regional People team supporting nine distribution centres across the South of England and South Wales. You will deploy people priorities, provide pragmatic advice, and lead employee-relations activity while ensuring compliance and high standards of delivery.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification at MCIPD or FCIPD level.
• Operational HR or People leadership experience within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in food manufacturing would be valuable.
• Logistics or distribution experience preferred, with transferable skills from demanding multi-site settings.
• Current knowledge of employment legislation and employee-relations practice.
• Experience leading a diverse workforce and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and handle sensitive employee-relations matters pragmatically.
• Proactive, organised approach with drive to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site and functional leaders to deploy people priorities and provide pragmatic advice.
• Lead and direct People team members across the region.
• Lead colleague engagement, communication and voice activity.
• Lead employee-relations activities with unions and representatives.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence on talent, succession and development.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, data protection and People policies.
• Coach line managers to manage performance and conduct effective conversations.
