Job summary

Compass Community seeks a Regional Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality OT assessment, intervention, and consultation for children and young people across educational and residential settings. You will collaborate with SENDCos, SLTs, education staff, families, and external professionals to support regulation, participation, independence, and wellbeing.

The role requires trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming practice with travel across the designated region.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by the HCPC.
• Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Undertake specialist, holistic Occupational Therapy assessments of children and young people’s sensory, functional, motor, emotional regulation, and occupational participation needs.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualised, evidence-informed intervention programmes across educational, residential, and community settings.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support learning, development, and participation.
• Produce high-quality clinical documentation, reports, and EHCP-related recommendations.
