The Royal British Legion seeks a Regional Outreach Officer for the Southeast Midlands to provide crucial support to beneficiaries facing various challenges. This home-based role involves managing a caseload, advocating for positive outcomes, and collaborating with teams across the UK.
The Royal British Legion’s Outreach Service operates across England, Wales, and Ireland, providing holistic, person-centred support to beneficiaries facing challenges such as homelessness, mental health issues, addiction, domestic abuse, involvement with the Criminal Justice system, and risks to children and families.
We are expanding our Outreach Service and team to better meet the needs of our beneficiaries. We are currently recruiting for a Regional Outreach Officer for the Southeast Midlands to join us in this mission.
As a Regional Outreach Officer, you will manage a complex caseload, supporting beneficiaries across the Southeast Midlands (Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire). Your role involves providing advice, guidance, and advocacy to help achieve positive outcomes.
Under the supervision of the Regional Lead Outreach, you will be part of the Southeast Midlands team and collaborate with the wider Outreach Service team across the UK as needed.
This position is home-based, with requirements to travel for face-to-face appointments, meetings, and training within the Southeast Midlands.
