Role Title: Regional Operations Director
Salary: Competitive salary, plus performance related bonus and benefits
Location: North West home based role, with travel across the North of England and Ireland
Our client is an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing Field Service business, in the Facilities Management and Property Services sector. They are seeking to recruit a Regional Operations Director to lead the effective and efficient delivery and organic growth of the company's operations throughout the North of England and Ireland.
Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Operations Director is responsible for seamlessly integrating the operations of new acquisitions and new customers as the company grows to deliver an outstanding customer service and colleague experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Championing a culture of high performance & values whilst maintaining a laser focus on ensuring colleagues are motivated, engaged, trained and equipped
- In conjunction with the Head of HR, resource plan for growth, recruit talented new colleagues in a timely fashion, succession plan and develop colleagues for their current and future roles
- Managing performance in alignment with culture and values
- Working closely with the technical function, delivering services in the most environmentally responsible way both in terms of service delivery and treatment
- Delivering outstanding customer service, leading to best-in-class customer satisfaction and retention rates
- Working closely with the Commercial function, implement sales & marketing strategies to promote ever greater customer engagement and to achieve organic growth targets
- Seamlessly integrating the operations of new customers as the company grows, to deliver outstanding customer service
- Identifying potential acquisition targets and seamlessly integrate the operations of new bolt-on acquisitions
- Deploying group policies, processes, technology and services throughout the operational delivery organisation to deliver consistent service quality, efficiency and a “one company” focus
- Be a highly effective leader to foster engagement, teamwork and performance throughout the operational team, inspiring colleagues to perform at their best every day
- In conjunction with functional colleagues, deploy the required innovation & technology to deliver an outstanding and consistent customer service as well as drive effectiveness and efficiency throughout the service delivery platform
- Continuously evolve the operational delivery of the organisation to maintain an effective yet efficient span of control and oversight
- Create divisional budgets and plans to meet growth and profitability ambitions
- Deliver against the agreed divisional budgets (operational & organic growth)
Candidate requirements:
- A University or post graduate degree or experience in lieu
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- At least seven years’ experience in relevant Field Service operational leadership role in a highly entrepreneurial, fast growth environment
- Post-acquisition integration of operations (delivery and business winning teams)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills – both written and verbal
- Effective leadership of diverse teams
- Experience running concurrent post-acquisition integrations
- Championing and supporting the implementation of technology solutions in a technologically diverse operating environment
- Proven experience in growing businesses organically
- Exceptional “people skills” to establish rapport, build relationships and engage with people across all levels of the business
- Creative, dynamic and highly commercial, with a modern and innovative mindset
