Wood is recruiting a Regional Operations Coordinator to support our client’s Operations and Maintenance team on a permanent staff basis.

This role will require travel to London, Southampton, and Kent.

Expected:

  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Scientific Discipline, or acceptable qualifications in a related technical field OR degree qualified in a commercial/business discipline and/or equivalent
  • Operations / Contract management experience, including smaller/lesser complex contracts and larger/more complex contracts/portfolios
  • Track record of successful delivery within relevant industry sectors
  • Broad understanding of the industry and with networking capability
  • Experience of customer/contractor facing communication/negotiation
  • Relevant technical expertise as applicable to the scope
  • Ability to balance commerciality with operational excellence
  • Knowledge of current HSSEA and other legislation as applied to the industry
  • Ability to steer and implement change programmes
  • Ability to address a site team on safety, operational, and employee matters with confidence
