Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Regional Occupational Therapist to support up to four specialist services across Yorkshire & Humber, the Midlands, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The role offers home working between site visits, regional travel, and autonomous workload management, with regular supervision and professional support.

You will deliver high-quality OT assessments, provide expert guidance, and contribute to service development, while benefiting from a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience completing occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
• Provide specialist OT advice, recommendations, and clinical guidance.
• Produce professional reports, assessments, and documentation.
• Complete risk assessments and develop protocols relating to equipment and therapeutic activities.
• Support service managers, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff with specialist occupational therapy input.
• Deliver training and education to staff teams to promote best practice.
• Recommend and advise on appropriate aids, adaptations, and physical healthcare interventions where required.
• Contribute to service development and the ongoing enhancement of occupational therapy provision.
• Manage workload and work autonomously across multiple services.
