Job Title: Regional Nursing Home Director
Location: London/Southampton/Kent
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Nursing Home Director to oversee multiple nursing home facilities across London, Southampton, and Kent. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to residents.

Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to multiple nursing home facilities within the region.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor facility managers to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and services to residents while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, optimizing resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders to enhance service offerings and resident satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.

Skills Required:

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification would be ideal
• Proven experience in managing multiple care homes, ideally more than two
• Proven experience as a Regional Manager, Area Manager with strong clinical knowledge, or multi-site leader in the care home or healthcare sector
• Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or Nursing (e.g., Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care)
• Demonstrated success in turning around underperforming homes or regions
• Strong understanding of care standards, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation (e.g., CQC regulations in the UK)
• Background in nursing, social care, or care home management is highly desirable
• Exceptional leadership, people management, and communication skills
• Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource planning
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned regions


Monday – Friday – Occasional requirement to work on call, based on the demands of the role
Role requires travelling, including overnight stays
