Responsibilities

Our client is a US-based biopharmaceutical company focused on developing medicines to improve patient lives. We seek a driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with pharmaceutical/biotech experience, especially in oncology and breast cancer.

The MSL is part of a global team providing scientific and educational support to healthcare professionals at clinical trial sites and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The role involves developing strong relationships within the oncology community, supporting clinical trials, and collecting insights to inform strategic decisions. Collaboration with Clinical Operations is essential.

Key experience includes advanced oncology knowledge, particularly breast cancer.

Accountabilities
  • Deliver education on the client’s products and protocols to physicians and support staff to optimize study performance.
  • Provide scientific information about study drugs and pipeline compounds to study sites, KOLs, and referral networks.
  • Respond to medical inquiries from HCPs and study teams using approved resources.
  • Stay updated on clinical data, published research, and trial work.
  • Support education at Site Investigator Meetings and Initiations.
  • Build and maintain strong communication with PIs and study teams, ensuring efficient management of requests.
  • Act as a scientific resource for study sites and CROs, ensuring alignment and study performance.
  • Support ongoing and future clinical trials, including site visits, enrollment, and study closure.
  • Respond to investigator-sponsored research requests following company procedures.
  • Enhance the client’s professional image across the territory.
Qualifications

Education: Physician, Pharmacist, PhD (preferred), MSc or related qualification. Fluent in English and local language.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in pharma, with MSL experience, and oncology expertise, especially breast cancer. Experience managing KOLs and HCPs.

Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, ability to present data, autonomous work ethic, project management, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong ethical standards.

Knowledge: Understanding of GXP, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and ethical standards.

Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Valid driver’s license.
