We have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Mechanical Engineer to join the UK’s premier outdoor go-karting venue. This position will cover the Milton Keynes, Surrey, and Tamworth venues, so you must be able to reliably commute between these locations.

About the company

Our client has the fastest Arrive & Drive go-karts in the UK, with three premium outdoor circuits in Surrey, Milton Keynes, and Tamworth. They cater to beginners and enthusiasts, offering various race formats including 'Arrive & Drive' and public 'Open Races' with practice, qualifying, F1-style races, and podium finishes.

About the role

As a Regional Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee management, procurement, and maintenance of the engineering functions and kart fleets across the group. Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing and monitoring engineering teams
  • Sourcing and provisioning karts and equipment
  • Maintaining kart fleets
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Planning and managing budgets
  • Recruiting and training engineering staff
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance
  • Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining records
  • Overseeing logistics and equipment for events like F1 Pit Stop challenges

About you
