We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing and Communications team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Regional Marketing Manager, UK and EMEA, Guy Carpenter

The Marketing Manager leads and supports marketing communications needs for Guy Carpenter across the UK and EMEA. It reports to our Global Marketing and Communications Leader for Guy Carpenter and is responsible for creating strategies, collateral materials for campaigns, and establishing and tracking KPIs. This role involves working across the Guy Carpenter business and marketing team to ensure an integrated approach to creating and launching campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the development and execution of commercially-focused marketing strategies.
  • Supporting the business to create/update value propositions and collateral materials for products and solutions.
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and the global content team to create thought leadership strategies tailored to regional/local clients, including messaging and assets for email marketing.
  • Creating activation plans for content and products based on themes and target audiences.
  • Partnering with sales to align strategies, sales materials, and RFP language.
  • Coordinating with Marsh McLennan marketing and communications professionals.

Requirements:

  • Extensive marketing and communications experience in large, complex, and matrixed environments, preferably within insurance or financial services sectors.
  • Experience delivering impactful campaigns in rapidly changing, highly regulated, and tech-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to advise senior executives and build relationships with influential stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technologies, including automation software, social media, intranets, and content management systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills, including coaching and credibility building.
  • Understanding of marketing automation, data analytics, and customer journey mapping.
  • Proficiency with digital tools like Salesforce (Marketing Cloud), AEM, and social media channels.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience.
