Job summary

Taylor2Recruitment Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager/Regional Manager to cover sites in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. The role requires proven experience as a multi-site manager in a high-volume retailer.

You will lead garden centre managers, develop teams, manage costs and budgets, and drive sales to maximise profitability across your region.

Qualifications

• Experience as Area or multi-site manager in a busy high-volume retailer.
• Ability to identify and build strong people and teams; strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L responsibility.
• Positive and strong communicator; skilled at motivating people and performing succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Garden centre Managers in your region.
• Provide leadership, direction, motivation and organisation.
• Oversee recruitment of staff in your region.
• Ensure costs, budgets, labour, and stock are in line.
• Trouble shoot and prioritise tasks.
• Report to the Group Operations Director and attend meetings to discuss performance.
• Inspire the teams to deliver excellent service and consistent results.
• Implement and work to company targets and KPIs.
• Maintain company system and procedures.
• Help to drive sales and maximise profitability.
