Job summary

The Regional Lead Practitioner for Religious Education at Astrea Academy Trust will lead high-quality RE teaching across South Yorkshire secondary schools, advancing knowledge-rich, Rosenshein/Lemov-inspired instruction. You will work with the Secondary Education Team to raise KS4 outcomes and support curriculum development, while remaining in the classroom to model best practices.

• Proven track record of delivering impact in Religious Education.
• Ability to lead, mentor and work across multiple schools.

Responsibilities

• Raise achievement in KS4 RE by teaching excellent lessons and supporting curriculum design.
• Provide subject-specific curriculum expertise to the Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on improving scholar outcomes and teaching standards across Trust schools.
• Support deployment of classroom (TA) support and contribute to curriculum activities.
