Astrea Academy Trust in Cambridgeshire seeks a Regional Lead Practitioner for Science who will continue teaching while shaping the science curriculum across secondary schools. You will deliver knowledge-rich lessons, mentor teachers, and lead improvement initiatives.

Join Our Team as a Regional Lead Practitioner for Science at Astrea Academy Trust!
Are you an outstanding teacher who wants your expertise to be recognised without moving into senior leadership or stepping away from the classroom? This role offers the opportunity to develop your career, increase your impact and continue teaching the subject you love, and remain working directly with children.
If yes, then we might just have the role for you as a Regional Lead Practitioner for Science to support our Cambridgeshire Secondary Schools.
We are building an exceptional team of enthusiastic and highly skilled Regional Lead Practitioners, committed to driving excellence and transformative change in our schools. If you have a deep passion for Science, a proven track record of delivering impact and outstanding results, and the expertise to break down barriers to success, empowering scholars and driving social mobility, this could be the role for you.
As a Regional Lead Practitioner, you will teach consistently excellent lessons aligned with our Trust-wide approach of delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum through explicit instruction (inspired by Rosenshein and Lemov). You will work alongside our Secondary Education Team, benefiting from the guidance of leading subject and educational experts who will provide unmatched support, constructive feedback, and meaningful opportunities for growth.
Please note that the above lists are not exhaustive, and further information can be found within the Job Description attached.
