Job summary

A leading company in environmental planning seeks a Regional Lead in Exeter to oversee planning and environmental assessment projects. Qualifications & Experience:
  • Excellent working knowledge of the UK Planning system and consenting process, including EIA practices and procedures, case law, and environmental and sustainability principles.
  • Experience across various project types.
  • Strong report writing, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience reviewing others' work.
  • Leadership in multi-disciplinary project coordination, with good project management skills.
  • Experience negotiating with planning authorities, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Commercial skills, including forecasting, project management, and quality assurance.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent, preferably with chartered status or working towards it.
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and collaborative approach.
  • Experience in DCO/TWAO / SEA and IIA projects is a plus.
  • Desired: Full Member of IEMA/IES/CEnv/RTPI.
