Job summary

Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board Primary Care Training Hub is seeking a Locality Workforce Development Lead to deliver NHS England Workforce Training and Education requirements across the ICS. You will shape local strategies, coordinate cross-organisational workstreams, and use data to recruit, develop and retain the primary care workforce within Sussex and wider Kent, Surrey & Sussex regions.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent level in Education, Health & Social Care or Project Management.
Experience in healthcare education including Primary Care workforce priorities and placements.
Evidence of continual professional development and capability to work at senior level.

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for specific activities and ensure operational delivery of NHS England workforce requirements.
Coordinate workstreams across Kent, Surrey and Sussex to reduce variation and duplication.
Shape, codesign and support local strategies for development of the primary care workforce.
Use workforce data to plan recruitment, development and retention across the ICS.
