Job summary

TeamSport Go Karting is seeking an experienced Area Alternative Education Manager to lead Fast Forward provision across eight sites in the South Coast region. You will ensure high-quality teaching, safeguarding, and learner outcomes while supporting instructors and partnerships with schools and authorities.

The role blends educational leadership with operational oversight, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, with occasional site visits and training commitments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within alternative provision, SEND, SEMH or similar educational environment.
• Experience leading teaching teams and driving improvements in educational quality.
• Strong safeguarding, SEND, SEMH knowledge and multiple-location leadership.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing education professionals.
• Ability to analyse learner data and implement improvement plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the educational programme across allocated sites.
• Coach, mentor and develop instructors.
• Conduct lesson observations and give feedback to enhance teaching and learning.
• Monitor learner outcomes, data and progress across the region.
• Support curriculum development and differentiation strategies.
• Oversee safeguarding, inclusion and learner welfare across sites.
• Build relationships with schools, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, induction and professional development of instructors.
