Job description

IT Technician Role - Epsom / Ewell Area

We are seeking an IT Technician to support our schools in the Epsom / Ewell area. The successful candidate will work with our experienced IT teams across Surrey and Oxfordshire, building links with the Trust IT team, Service Delivery Manager, and Head of Operations.

The role involves providing first- and second-line support across various systems and users with different skill levels, ensuring IT services benefit teaching and learning. The position is based at Glyn School and Cuddington Croft Primary School, with occasional visits to other GLF schools in the region. Attendance at IT team training events at GLF Trust offices (Earlsfield, Banstead) is required.

A full UK driving license is beneficial but not essential if the candidate can demonstrate the ability to meet travel requirements.

We seek an enthusiastic and creative individual, ideally with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with hardware and software knowledge, including installation, configuration, and deployment. Additional beneficial experience includes:

  • Working in an educational environment

  • Knowledge of ITIL, service, and project delivery
