Job description

We are looking to recruit an IT Technician to support our schools in the Epsom / Ewell area. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and Oxfordshire, and will build links with the Trust IT team, Service Delivery Manager, and Head of Operations.

The candidate will provide first- and second-line support, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills, and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. They will assist in ensuring that IT services benefit teaching and learning. This role is based at Glyn School and Cuddington Croft Primary School; occasional visits to other GLF schools in the Epsom & Ewell region may be required. The candidate will also need to attend IT team training events at GLF Trust offices (Earlsfield, Banstead) on scheduled dates.

A full UK driving license is beneficial but not required if the candidate can demonstrate the means to meet travel requirements.

This role offers varied responsibilities, requiring an enthusiastic individual who can think creatively to solve issues independently and work effectively with IT and school teams. Ideally, candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with skills in hardware and software installation, configuration, and deployment. Beneficial experience includes:
