Job summary

H&MV Engineering is seeking a Regional Commissioning Manager to oversee commissioning delivery across a defined region in the UK, leading on-site teams and coordinating with project, design, protection, SCADA and safety functions to energise high‑voltage projects.

Reporting to the Commissioning Director, you will balance hands-on technical commissioning with leadership responsibilities, ensuring programmes, risks, and resources are clearly managed and reported, while maintaining highest safety

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning delivery across multiple projects within the assigned region.
• Support Project Commissioning Managers, commissioning leads, engineers, technicians, graduates, and specialist teams in planning and delivery of works.
• Ensure commissioning programmes, resources, equipment, documentation, and client requirements are understood and managed.
• Track progress across regional projects and report updates, risks, blockers, and resource needs to the Commissioning Manager.
• Assist in readiness for commissioning and energisation with clear ownership of outstanding actions.
• Support closeout of commissioning issues, snags, documentation, and technical queries.
