Job Description

The Regional HR Manager is responsible for leading and directing people initiatives in a geographic area, reporting to the Head of Human Resources, and working closely with Regional Directors of Manufacturing and Plant Managers. This role is integral to the HR team, providing comprehensive HR solutions to manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive employee engagement through surveys, plant visits, and relationship building.
  2. Collaborate with site leaders on skills and competency requirements.
  3. Support safety and workers' compensation administration.
  4. Onboard and integrate new employees.
  5. Manage compensation practices to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  6. Partner with operations to solve business problems with innovative HR solutions.
  7. Ensure management practices align with company policies and values.
  8. Facilitate performance management processes.
  9. Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  10. Train plant leadership on HR policies, safety, diversity, and anti-discrimination.
  11. Support benefits administration onboarding/offboarding.
  12. Develop talent attraction and retention strategies.
  13. Support acquisitions and integrations.
  14. Lead or support key HR projects.
  15. Analyze KPIs and develop action plans based on data.
Requirements
  • Ability to travel 50% to manufacturing plants.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years HR management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Ability to balance tactical and strategic work.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
