Job summary

Altrad is seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join the Aldermaston regional office, covering the South and South East. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day HSEQ advice to sites and support operations by promoting safety and compliance.

The position is permanent, Monday–Friday, 38 hours per week, with a pay rate of £26.97 per hour. You will deliver inductions, RAMS, audits and toolbox talks while ensuring adherence to UK legislation and client requirements.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent required.
• IOSH membership or working towards with relevant safety experience.
• Experience in HSEQ roles within industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSEQ advice to site management, supervisors and teams.
• Support onboarding including inductions and Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Monitor activities for compliance with procedures and legislation.
• Assist with RAMS preparation, review and implementation.
• Maintain a strong visible presence across the region.
• Promote positive safety behaviours and coach employees.
• Apply Human Performance principles to prevent human error.
• Carry out planned audits, inspections and safety tours with corrective actions.
• Support investigations into incidents and near misses.
• Deliver toolbox talks and HSEQ briefings.
• Produce accurate HSEQ reports and maintain records.
