Job summary

The Network Plus Group is seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join our busy Norwich team. You will provide specialist advice in safety, enabling managers and contractors to comply with Construction Health, Safety and Environmental Policies to create an efficient and safe place to work.

As this role will be regional, there will be a requirement to travel to multiple sites in Norwich with one day a week at the Bury St Edmunds Head Office.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General (as a minimum)
• Proven CDM experience/knowledge
• Experience interpreting and applying Health & Safety legislation in an operational business
• Proven experience of conducting or supporting incident/near miss investigations
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, timely, cost-effective safety and environmental guidance to managers and employees to comply with health and safety and environmental standards.
• Support front line site managers to ensure understanding and adherence to CDM and current legislation and best practice.
• Monitor compliance with Anglian Water & Alliance procedures and review safety and environmental performance.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation and developments in the field.
• Provide support and visibility for the HSEQ team and promote a collaborative environment.
