Regional HSE Business Partner - North

North of England, Scotland and Ireland
HSE Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a leading logistics company who are seeking a Regional Health and Safety Business Partner to cover 8 locations. If you are looking for a role that offers variety, the opportunity to support multiple sites and the freedom to influence decisions, this could be the role for you.
This role will cover 8 sites in North of England, Scotland and Ireland. You will be out on site approx. 3 days a week with home working the other 2 days. Ideally you will be based in or accessible to North England/Scotland to get across all locations easily. This isn’t a 9-5 role as the nature of this business means that the hub of activity happens early morning so some early starts will be needed to really impact the culture and drive behaviours.
It is the role of the Health & Safety Business Partner to support these sites at each location, focusing on building relationships. On one hand, this will be a hands-on role, rolling up your sleeves, getting onto site, doing risk assessments, etc. On the other hand, you will also be required to audit the sites and feed that back with a plan. Previous experience in this area will be advantageous but training will be given regarding ISO standards and internal auditing, with development to lead auditor.
You will support the sites with training, ensuring safe working practices, creating and improving risk assessments, conducting accident investigations, and managing ISO systems. You will work closely with the Operational leadership teams to develop a positive health and safety culture, engaging and inspiring Operational site leaders to deliver a safe place to work.
