Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Part-time Regional HSE Advisor for the Exeter region. The role involves three days per week with flexible days, and strong operational ability to manage subcontractors and drive safety output across residential projects.

Reporting to the Group Safety, Health & Environmental Manager, you will monitor HSE processes, advise sites, and deliver bespoke training while building relationships with site teams and management.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction or General-qualified is ESSENTIAL.
• Safety & Health Diploma-qualified (NEBOSH, NVQ, NCRQ) is PREFERABLE.
• Experience in Construction projects and hazards is ESSENTIAL.
• Experience in Housebuilding is PREFERABLE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, safety and environment processes on site.
• Ensure site management focuses on a safe and healthy environment.
• Advise sites on project-specific HSE issues.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate to drive safety across the regional site portfolio.
• Communicate confidently with stakeholders up and down the organisation.
• Deliver bespoke safety training to staff and subcontractors.
