Job summary

HSE Recruitment Network is partnering with a growing energy company to recruit a Regional HSE Advisor. The role covers East Midlands and the North East, focusing on safe, compliant project delivery and regional HSE support.

You will be out on site about 3 days a week, conducting visits, coaching and audits while collaborating with site teams, contractors and stakeholders to uphold HSE standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years practical Health and Safety experience in a regional or multi-site role.
• Experience within a range of construction or electrical projects (within energy or solar would be beneficial) or consultancies.
• Engaging, personable and influential; able to be assertive.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits, inspections and audits across the regional portfolio.
• Support delivery of projects, engineering services and construction activities with operational teams and contractors.
• Coach and engage with stakeholders to maintain Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Job description

HSE Recruitment are working with a growing energy company who are looking for a Regional HSE Advisor to cover the East Midlands and for a limited time, the North East of the UK.

As a Regional HSE Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and compliant delivery of projects, engineering services, construction activities and operational works across an assigned regional portfolio. Working closely with operational teams, contractors, customers and key stakeholders, you will help ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are effectively implemented and maintained across multiple sites and workstreams, identify any areas of concern and work with the sites to fix them.

This is a highly operational role, with a significant proportion of time spent carrying out site visits, inspections, audits, coaching and stakeholder engagement activities across your region. As such we are looking for someone who is happy to be out visiting sites on average 3 days a week.

You will be part of a centralised HSE function providing strategic leadership, regional support and operational assurance across our Solar & Construction and Energy Solutions & Engineering portfolios. Working as part of a collaborative national HSE team, you will support the continual improvement of HSE performance and help ensure safe and successful project delivery across the UK.

What we are looking for:

The salary and package includes £42,000-48,500 DOE, company car and 10% bonus.
