Job summary

JOE & THE JUICE is seeking a senior HRBP to lead People–region initiatives and partner with Regional Directors and District Managers. Based in London or the North, you’ll report to the People Director (UK&I) and blend strategic thinking with hands-on coaching of leaders to strengthen culture and performance.

You’ll drive succession planning, employee relations, and engagement across the region while shaping pipelines and people strategy for growth.

Qualifications

• Significant HRBP or senior people generalist experience, ideally in multi-site retail or hospitality.
• Hands-on experience managing complex employee relations cases independently.
• Defining capability for coaching and developing operational leaders.
• Familiarity with succession planning and talent management frameworks is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, influencing across functions and seniority levels.
• CIPD qualified, or equivalent experience, with strong commercial literacy.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve succession planning and talent mapping across the region, partnering with the Talent team to build a live pipeline of future leaders.
• Translate the UK&I people strategy for your region, aligning people plans to support regional growth.
• Acting as strategic partner to the Regional Director - supporting the development of their teams and supporting people performance.
• Build and scale retention action plans, using Store Manager exit interview insight to address the real reasons people leave.
• Design and manage engagement survey analysis for the region, partnering with operational leaders on meaningful action plans.
• Lead employee relations across the region, providing expert guidance on complex cases and ensuring consistent, fair outcomes.
• Oversee and improve store performance through people insight, diagnosing issues and working with leaders on targeted action.
• Ensure compliance with people policies across the region, applying them consistently and escalating issues appropriately.
• Partner with the Talent team on acquisition priorities and pipeline planning for the region.
• Drive coaching and development of District Managers and Store Managers, building their people leadership capability over time.
