Location: West London, flexible hybrid role – 2 days per week

Salary: £55,000 plus bonus and benefits

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for two luxury retail brands, including developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Primary responsibilities:
  1. Identify, develop, and implement Human Resources strategies, objectives, and initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with business leads to ensure Human Resources practices are met, including staffing levels, effective selections, retention, and team engagement.
  3. Lead hands-on recruitment within the region to ensure ongoing human resources availability, both in quantity and quality.
  4. Develop and implement training programs.
  5. Coach and consult with UK business leads on talent and succession management to ensure employee performance, engagement, and accountability.
  6. Oversee employee relations and engagement, including performance appraisals, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and engagement initiatives.
  7. Manage HR policies and procedures in line with corporate objectives and UK labor laws.
  8. Make continuous proposals to the Global Head of HR for resource optimization.
Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, procedures, and UK labor law and regulations.
  • Demonstrated management skills, including project management and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Good listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with parties from different levels and cultural backgrounds, paying attention to details.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight schedules in a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a good sense of urgency.
  • Experience in luxury or retail sectors is desirable.
