• Maintain and update HR data in HCM SAGE/Rail People and produce reports and analytics.
• Support managers on performance issues with data-driven action plans.
• Manage employee relations cases, including disputes and investigations.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment focusing on direct hiring to reduce agency reliance.
• Develop and implement recruitment, retention, and development strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast workforce needs and succession planning.

REGIONAL HR MANAGER

Progress Rail Locomotive Europe Limited, are seeking an experienced Regional HR Manager with manufacturing experience.

As our Regional HR Manager, you ll be the go-to partner for managers and employees across our UK and continental European locations. You ll ensure our people have the support, advice, and tools they need to perform effectively all while keeping us compliant with employment legislation in multiple jurisdictions. From shaping recruitment strategies to driving employee development, you ll play a pivotal role in building a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready workforce.

What You'll Do as a Regional HR Manager

• Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of employment issues.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices in continental Europe comply with local legislation and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
• Maintain and update our HR database (HCM SAGE/Rail People), producing reports, KPIs, and workforce analytics.
• Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing action plans based on performance and absence trends.
• Manage employee relations cases, including claims and dispute resolution.
• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process from identifying needs and creating compelling job adverts to interviewing and onboarding with a focus on direct hiring to reduce agency dependency.
• Implement effective strategies for recruitment, retention, development, and deployment of employees across the business.
• Partner with leadership to plan workforce needs and succession strategies.

What You'll Bring as a Regional HR Manager

• Proven HR management experience across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of UK and continental European employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing HR systems (HCM SAGE/Rail People preferred) and producing data-driven insights.
