Job Description:

I am delighted to be recruiting for a reputable education provider to appoint a permanent Regional HR Business Partner for London.

This role is on-site and covers a cluster of schools in Central London, West London, and other locations.

Salary is up to £65,000 per annum plus benefits

You will work collaboratively with senior leaders to drive the people strategy in the region, overseeing and managing the people function, and developing, implementing, and maintaining people strategies.

Key Activities
  • Develop and execute the people strategy for London, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s overall goals.
  • Contribute to the wider UK people strategy, including leading initiatives from the central team within the region.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to local HR colleagues across all settings to ensure HR practice consistency.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-quality staff.
  • Serve as a trusted escalation point for complex ER issues, appeals, tribunal claims, and ACAS conciliation.
  • Support and develop local HR teams by providing advice and best practices.
  • Oversee conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures fairly and constructively.
Person Specification
  • Experience in business partnering across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of the education sector.
  • Strong employee relations background, including managing complex cases and employment tribunals.
  • Experience managing or supervising HR advisors or administrators.
  • Supportive of employee wellbeing, including colleagues absent due to sickness or requiring reasonable adjustments.
  • Understanding of KCSIE and its relevance to HR processes.
  • Experience with the 'single central record in schools.'
  • Knowledge of HR information systems and data reporting.
