Job Description:

We are recruiting for a reputable education provider to hire a permanent Regional HR Business Partner for London. This on-site role covers a cluster of schools across Central London, West London, and other locations.

Salary is up to £65,000 per annum plus benefits.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leaders to develop and drive regional people strategies, oversee the people function, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the regional people strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to the UK-wide people strategy and implement central initiatives locally.
  • Lead and support local HR teams to ensure consistent HR practices.
  • Design and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain staff.
  • Manage complex ER cases, appeals, tribunal claims, and ACAS conciliation as a trusted escalation point.
  • Provide HR advice, support, and best practices to local teams.
  • Oversee conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures fairly and constructively.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in business partnering across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of the education sector.
  • Strong employee relations background, including managing complex cases and tribunals.
  • Experience supervising HR advisors or administrators.
  • Support for employee wellbeing, including managing long-term sickness and reasonable adjustments.
  • Understanding of KCSIE and its implications for HR processes.
  • Experience with the 'single central record' in schools.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems and data reporting.
