Zusammenfassung

The Wessex Local Office of NHS England in the South East Region is seeking a Training Programme Director in Histopathology on a three-year basis, covering Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. The post leads the overall delivery of the histopathology training programme alongside the Head of School, with a focus on learner supervision, assessment and faculty engagement.

It is open to current STC members and to consultants with an interest in education; NHS applicants go on secondment only,

Qualifikationen

• Primary clinical healthcare qualification.
• Fellowship of a College or Faculty.
• Registration to practise as a doctor (licence to practise).
• Experience supervising or teaching learners in an educational context.
• Proven clinical and educational leadership with multi-professional teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead overall delivery of the histopathology training programme with the Head of School.
• Improve learner supervision, assessment and experience.
• Engage faculty to ensure educational outcomes.
• Ensure Royal College standards and Histopathology guidelines are met.
• Oversee the regional training programme.
• Manage trainee and trainer concerns and recruitment to posts.
• Drive workforce transformation and multi-professional links.
