Job summary

Nationwide Platforms seeks a Regional Class 1 HGV Driver based at our Bristol depot, covering depots across the South West. You will travel as required, with paid accommodation when away, delivering and handing over machines with safety and care.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and a valid CPC card are essential.
• Willingness to stay away from home for nights away (accommodation provided).
• Experience with delivering plant on a low loader is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines in line with company procedures.
• Maintain security of loads during transport and delivery.
• Handover machines to customers and explain operation basics.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintenance routines.
• Comply with tachograph and working time regulations.
• Relay customer queries to depot staff when needed.
• Act as an ambassador for Nationwide Platforms with high customer care.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
