Regional Health, Safety and Wellbeing Consultant | S | Human Resources | 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, Leicester
Join our community! We are looking for a qualified Regional Health, Safety and Wellbeing Consultant to cover the Midlands and Anglia regions.
You will provide comprehensive health and safety advice and management services to Santander UK Companies, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff, contractors, and visitors, while maintaining compliance with UK legislation.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing policies to manage health, safety, and wellbeing risks in the financial sector.
- Ensuring compliance with UK health and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conducting audits and inspections across branches and offices.
- Providing remote and on-site assessments, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Managing First Aid provisions and training.
- Supporting vulnerable colleagues and signposting to support services.
What you’ll need:
- A degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience advising on health and safety, preferably in the service sector.
- Membership of IOSH or an equivalent professional body.
- Knowledge of current safety legislation and standards.
Additional skills:
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions.
- Experience managing projects within deadlines.
Additional information:
This role is based in Carlton Park, with two days per month expected in the office. The contract is for 12 months, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements discussed during recruitment. Please consider your travel distance and costs.
