Wincanton are looking to recruit a Regional Health and Safety Manager for our EDF Energy contract. The role covers six sites and 200 colleagues, across Weston Super Mare, Gloucester, Bristol and Bridgewater and supports our warehousing operations.
Our sites house all construction items for the build of HPC nuclear power station, estimated to be complete in 2032. This exciting project will power 6 million homes for three generations and help Britain to achieve Net Zero.
Reporting to the General Manager, this key role supports the customer contract by integrating effectively with the senior management team onsite to ensure H&S standards & compliance is achieved and maintained through high levels of employee engagement and a strong health and safety behaviour culture.
This is predominantly Monday to Friday role, salary £60,000 - £70,000 p.a plus company car.
Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment, this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history
