About the role

Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a key part of the UK’s national counter-terrorism network. We are a collaboration of five forces, working together with partners to protect the public and prevent terrorist threats.

We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Protective Security to lead our regional protective security function. This is an exciting leadership opportunity with responsibilities including advising, shaping, and implementing protective security measures across our region.

You will manage a team of specialists and collaborate with various stakeholders to reduce vulnerabilities and enhance resilience against terrorism by developing, maintaining, and overseeing physical security, personnel security, and STRAP regimes across the CTPNW estate.

You will also be responsible for assuring the Head of CTPNW and the Assistant Chief Constable that all security and compliance matters are properly managed across the North-West region.
