Job Description:

Our client in London is looking for a Regional Head of Health Safety & Environment. This role reports to the HSE Director. The key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance: Drive safety culture, oversee HSE documentation, implement international standards like ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ESG, IFC, World Bank EHS, and EBRD. Ensure the HSE Director is informed on reportable events and corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as an HSE authority, attend meetings, support tenders, and share HSE knowledge internally.
  • Audits, Inspections & Site Support: Plan and conduct audits, support project setup, and motivate site teams.
  • KPI Management & Reporting: Monitor and review HSE KPIs, ensure timely reporting.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement: Identify training needs, lead incident investigations, and promote lessons learned.
  • Behavioural Leadership: Promote accountability, trust, and safety priorities like working at height, vehicle safety, and housekeeping.

The role also involves leading HSE strategy, stakeholder engagement, audits, performance monitoring, training, hazard mitigation, and risk management across regional sites.
