Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Regional Head Chef to lead and develop the kitchen teams across our luxury care homes in a roving capacity. You will design menus that meet dietary needs while maintaining high standards of taste, seasonality, and cost efficiency.

You will oversee Sous Chefs and Chefs across homes, with travel required to our portfolio locations. A strong supervisory background and Health & Safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Catering Services.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety.
• Full, clean driving licence (advantage).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join Signature Senior Lifestyle in a roving capacity, providing leadership and support across our portfolio of luxury care homes.

Your Role at Signature

Travel Requirements -
As a Regional Head Chef, this position will require travel to homes in our portfolio.

The Head Chef is the heart and soul of our kitchen, in charge of creating a menu that offers our residents an unrivalled dining experience. You’ll help create and evolve the food offering across all areas of our community to produce the highest standards, ensuring food is delicious, seasonal and cost-effective. You’ll be confident devising dishes for special dietary requirements, whatever the expectations of our diners, while meeting all their nutritional needs.

You’ll also be leading a team, managing and developing a Sous Chef, Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs, helping them to grow and develop.
